MISSING PERSON SOUGHT BY SAPS DRIEKOP

DRIEKOP – The Police in Driekop request assistance of the community to locate a mentally disabled missing 40-year-old male person Kwiane Percy Mahlakwane of Ga-Mahlakwane village outside Burgersfort reportedly went missing on Wednesday 15 February 2023.
According to the information it is reported the 40-year-old man was last seen by his mother while at home. It is alleged that when she came back from the funeral on Wednesday 15 February 2023, she asked the whereabouts of Kwiane whom he was left in the company of his brother whom is also mentally disabled and since Kwiane has never been home.
The clothes that the missing person was wearing in his disappearance is not identified.
The search team comprises of the SAPS K9 Unit, Driekop SAPS Vispol and Detectives with members of the community was formed and subsequently conducted searches around the village and nearby places without success.
Police appeal to anyone with information that can assist to locate Kwiane Percy Mahlakwane to contact the Investigating Officer, Warrant Officer Daniel Mohlala at 079 875 7771 or report to the nearest police alternatively call the crime stop number 0860010111 or share the information on MySAPSApp.
