Three family members have been issued life sentences each for the killsurance of their helper.
Amdhew Rishi Chuttergoon(49) and Manage Jessica Chuttergoon(50) together with their daughter Trailene Naidoo(31) hired Rashree Dwarika(56) from Phoenix with one purpose only, killsurance.
They hired Rashree under the guise of her helping in the house and her being a nanny.
They hired her and in the process acquired all her details so that their daughter Trailene could call in to an insurance company pretending to Rashree, took a life insurance to the value of R750 000 and of course appointing themselves as her beneficiaries.
Apparently the activation date for accidental death was supposed to be 01/07/2023, their greed got the better of them because they found themselves calling the insurance company requesting the date to be brought forward to 01/06/2023. Of course the insurance agreed.
In the meantime they arranged a holiday in which the lady was to accompany them. She may have been very excited to go to the holiday with a family she just started working for, little did she know that she was walking straight into a trap.
On the 17June 2023, the police were called to a scene of a drowned women. An inquest was opened. They probably told themselves that SAPS hardly ever does proper investigations.
They continued with their lives while waiting for the insurance payout. On the 15/09/2023 they were greeted by blue boys and girls. It was the last time they saw freedom.
Their case ran until August 2025 when they were dished with life sentences which we all know it is a lie. As long as they think it is.
They are busy appealing their sentence right now because SA is very nice. They maintain their innocence. They actually want everyone to believe that a woman was hired by them and on the same day she loved them so much to take a policy just to make them her beneficiary.
