The learnership is offered by WesBank, which is part of the FirstRand group (alongside FNB and RMB).
It’s a 12-month structured programme combining:

You must:
- Be 18–34 years old
- Be a South African citizen
- Be unemployed
- Not currently studying
- Have Matric
- Have less than 12 months work experience
- Be applying for your first formal job
- Not have worked for FirstRand before
- Not have joined the FirstJob programme before
- Have good English communication skills
- Have no criminal record or bad credit history
