CAT MATLALA ALLEGEDLY PAID SHADRACK SIBIYA CASH TO GET R360 MILLION SAPS CONTRACT – MANDLANGA COMMISSION HEARD!

Tembisa Hospital tender tycoon Vusimuzi ‘Cat’ Matlala allegedly confessed to investigators that he paid suspended Deputy National Police Commissioner Shadrack Sibiya to secure a massive R360 million South African Police Service (SAPS) contract.

The explosive allegation was presented to the Madlanga Commission of Inquiry by a member of the Gauteng Counterintelligence Operations Unit, identified only as ‘Witness C’. According to Witness C’s testimony, Matlala admitted to making cash payments to Sibiya as an assurance for landing the multi-million-rand police contract. The money was allegedly collected from Matlala’s luxury Centurion mansion by a detective working for Sibiya. Witness C detailed the arrangement, claiming that Matlala would summon a detective, identified as Sergeant Nkosi, to collect “packages” on behalf of General Sibiya.
