A 30-YEAR-OLD MALE SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR POSSESSION OF SUSPECTED STOLEN PROPERTY
POLOKWANE A 30-year-old male suspect was arrested for possession of a suspected stolen motor vehicle at his residence in Malamulele, Shitlhelani village on Tuesday, 16 September 2025.
The suspect was apprehended after a tip-off information was shared with the detectives about a suspected stolen motor vehicle at a certain house in Shitlhelani village.
The police detectives were busy executing their duties, tracing wanted suspects, when they received intelligence information about a suspect in possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle. The officers operationalised the information and led them to the kraal. The owner was summoned to come to the scene. Upon his arrival, he opened the garage that’s when a motor vehicle was found (Mahindra S6 Karoo Bakkie).
The vehicle was tested and was found to be hijacked during a house robbery in North West Province, Boiketlong policing area.
The suspect was immediately placed under arrest. He will appear before Malamulele Magistrate’s court on Thursday, 18 September 2025, for possession of suspected stolen property (motor vehicle).
