POLICE NABBED MURDER SUSPECT FOLLOWING THE DISCOVERY OF THE UNKNOWN BODY OF A MALE VICTIM IN POLOKWANE RISSIK AND BOK STREET
POLOKWANE The South African Police Service in Polokwane Capricorn District has arrested a 28-year-old male suspect following the discovery of an unknown male body victim at conner Ressik and Bok Street Polokwane town on Friday 08 August 2025 at around 08:30.The suspect was arrested on 2025/08/08( Friday ) at around 17:00.after the preliminary investigations.
The Police received a complaint of an unknown body of male victim laying on the road at conner Ressik and Bok Street. Upon their arrival, they found a body of a male victim with visible injuries.
The victim was announced deceased by EMS personnel. A murder case has since been registered at SAPS Polokwane . The police investigation revealed that the suspect had a deadly fight with a victim.It was also established that the other three suspects were involved in the death of the victim .
The investigation led the detectives to Moletjie Motong village under Seshego policing area, where the second suspect was located. The members tactically approached the premises where the suspect was inside. He noticed the police presence and tried to stab the officers with a knife. They officers shot him. Unfortunately, he passed away at the scene.
The Independent Police Directorate Investigation (IPID department has been notified for further investigations.
