SOME PARTS OF PIETETSBURG HOSPITAL CLOSED DUE TO HEAVY RAINS WHICH CAUSED FLOODING

Certain parts of Petersburg Hospital are still closed, and some services are diverted due to heavy rains that caused major flooding in the City of Polokwane.

Parts of the hospital that are still closed include casualty and the X Ray department. Currently, patients who are in need of such services are being diverted to nearby hospitals. The department calls on people who might need to visit the hospital for the services to go to the nearest facilities instead.

Normal Specialised Outpatient Patient Department Clinics are functioning normally. However, patients are likely to experience unusual delays today. Community members will be updated of any developments including the full restoration of services.
