Former Limpopo MEC Dikeledi Magadzi has passed away, according to an announcement by the ANC. Magadzi, a veteran politician, died this morning, Sunday, December 28, 2025. During her tenure, she served in various capacities, including as MEC in the Limpopo Provincial Government, overseeing portfolios such as Health and Public Works. Nationally, she held positions as Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation and Deputy Minister of Transport.
The African National Congress (ANC) has expressed deep sadness following the death of veteran leader and former Deputy Minister, Comrade Dikeledi Magadzi, who passed away on the morning of Sunday, 28 December 2025.
In an official statement released by the party’s Department of Communications, the ANC described Magadzi as a “seasoned cadre” and a “committed leader” who dedicated her life to the liberation movement and the democratic state.
