BREAKING NEWS: FACTIONS ALREADY BREWING AT MAYIBUYE PARTY
The Afrika Mayibuye Movement, led by former EFF deputy president Floyd Shivambu, has announced the immediate removal of its First Deputy President, Nolusabalo Mcinga.
In a statement, the party cited “unauthorised meetings with rival political leaders” as a serious breach of organisational integrity.
While Mcinga’s membership remains intact pending disciplinary proceedings, the decision marks the first major internal shake-up since the party’s launch in June.
The move framed by Shivambu as a step to protect the movement from “infiltration and abuse of office for personal gain” has sparked debate over growing factionalism within the fledgling left-wing organisation.
