BREAKING NEWS : Tragedy Strikes on R81: 13 Lives Lost in Horrific Collision
A devastating collision on the R81 at Ga-Sekgopo, outside Polokwane, in Limpopo, has claimed the lives of 13 people, including a young girl. The victims were travelling in a minibus taxi that was trapped between two trucks.
According to preliminary reports, the deceased include a 7-year-old girl, and the male minibus taxi driver. The group was returning from a church service at Solomondale township outside Polokwane to Magoro village, outside Giyani.
One truck driver sustained slight injuries, while the other driver escaped unharmed. The Transport Department has confirmed that the details of the deceased will be released once their next-of-kin have been informed. The road is now open for traffic, but the community is left to mourn the loss of these lives
