BREAKING NEWS: MAN FALSELY ACCUSED OF RAPING A MINOR TO SUE THE STATE R10-MILLION
The 28-year old man who was imprisoned for 2-months for falsely raping and impregnating 13-year old girl in Seshego is set to sue the state R10-million. The 28 year old, Ditebogo Gololo was arrested after a 13-year old girl gave birth at Seshego Hospital.
The girl pointed to the suspect as the father of the baby. After 2-months the DNA came back showing that the suspect was not the father.
Ditebogo was released on bail and is expected back in court on the 4th of May 2025 for determination.
Ditebogo has denied ever having sexual relations with the minor but was incarcerated.
Ditebogo through his lawyer has raised his intentions to sue the state. The man was working at KFC and has since lost his job and his reputation.
Some on social media has since questioned the legal system. Some say the police were pressured by politicians to prosecute the suspect without doing verification.
