TWO MORE SUSPECTS OF MURDER TO APPEAR BEFORE SESHEGO MAGISTRATE’S COURT
POLOKWANE Two more suspects aged 24 and 29 responsible for the murder at Mohodi Madikana under Mogwadi policing area will appear before the Seshego Magistrate Court, on Monday 19 January 2026.
On Monday, 22 September 2025, at around 21:00, the police received tip-off information about a male person who was murdered while at his residence at Mohodi village. On their arrival at the scene, the victim was found in the pool of blood with a gunshot wound. The preliminary investigations report suggest that the suspects called the victim and ordered him to come outside, but the deceased never responded. They kicked his doors open and started to assault the victim and his brother. In the process, the victim was shot on his upper body and the suspects left the scene with a bakkie.
The emergency medical personnel were summoned to the scene, and the victim was pronounced dead.
A case of murder was registered and transferred to the Provincial Murder and Robbery Investigation Unit. On Saturday 17 January 2026 , the Provincial Murder and Robbery Investigation Unit, Provincial Tracking Team and Provincial Flying Squad acted on intelligence driven operation at Moletjie Ga-Mabokele and Ga-Hlahla, where suspects were located at their hiding place and arrested.
