LEBOWAKGOMO POLICE INVESTIGATE A CASE OF ATTEMPTED MURDER AT MAKOTSE VILLAGE

POLOKWANE: The Police at Lebowakgomo are investigating a case of attempted murder after a 41-year-old man who was driving in a white Toyota Hilux bakkie, was shot and injured by unknown suspects at Makotse Village, on Tuesday, 04 June 2024 at around 23h00.

It is alleged that the victim was driving out of the church premises, when he noticed two men standing outside the local church, and they tried to stop him. He did not stop since he did not know them. They suddenly fired several shots at his vehicle. He realised that he has been shot at, and proceeded to a local hospital for medical treatment. The medical practitioners confirmed that he sustain gun shot wound on his lower body.

Police were notified about the incident. They opened a case of attepted murder for further investigations.
