A 38-YEAR-OLD MAN ARRESTED FOR KIDNAPPING AND ATTEMPTED MURDER AT MOKWAKWAILA
POLOKWANE: The Members of Limpopo Provincial Vispol Task Team and Mopani Tracking Team arrested a 38-year-old man in connection with kidnapping and attempted murder, on Monday, 22 April 2024 at around 22:00.
Reports indicated that the suspect assaulted and stabbed his girlfriend with a sharp object during February 2024 at Mokwakwaila policing area. The suspect had been on the run since
The team members received information about the wanted suspect spotted driving a red Polo Vivo along Bolobedu main road. The information was accurately followed and the suspect aged 38 apprehended for kidnapping and murder.
The Provincial Commissioner of Limpopo SAPS Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has commended the members for finally arresting the suspect in this matter.
The suspect will soon appear before Bolobedu Magistrate Court facing charges of kidnapping and attempted murder.
Police investigations are underway.
