DA to visit the family of abducted and murdered toddler
The DA sends heartfelt condolences to the family of Motheo Rashilo in Malatane village in Lepelle Nkumpi.
The 21-month-old toddler’s body was found on Wednesday after she was reported missing on 28 October 2022.
Her mother left her in the care of a family friend who claims that the toddler was abducted by an unknown man who was loitering around the family home.
This area has been plagued by abductions and muti killings over recent years.
We will visit the family over the weekend to convey condolences and offer emotional support.
The safety of our children requires vigilance and action from society as a whole.
The DA will monitor the progress of the case and appeal to the community to cooperate with the SAPS to apprehend Motheo’s killer.
