A 25-YEAR-OLD MALE SUSPECT NABBED FOR MURDER CASE AT MANKWENG POLICING AREA
POLOKWANE: Mankweng police have arrested a 25-year-old suspect in connection with a murder incident that occurred at a Pub in Mankweng Unit D, T-Zone Pub.
The arrest follows a manhunt that was launched after the murder of a 31-year-old male on Saturday, 24 January 2026, at around 02h30. The deceased sustained multiple stab wounds to the upper body and later succumbed to his injuries after being taken to the local hospital.
The suspect was arrested on Sunday, 25 January 2026, at around 12:45 at Mamotintane Village.
The suspect is expected to appear before the Mankweng Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 27 January 2026, facing a charge of murder.
Police investigations are continuing.
