BREAKING NEWS: ANC MURDERS APPEARS IN COURT
Two private security officers are set to appear in court today in connection with the fatal shooting of ANC Youth League (ANCYL) Limpopo PEC member Nkateko Mbhoma.
Mbhoma was shot on the morning of 10 September 2025 while traveling to the ANCYL National General Council in Kimberley.
Authorities say the incident was a case of mistaken identity, as the security officers allegedly targeted his vehicle believing it was involved in criminal activity.
Mbhoma’s funeral on 20 September drew large crowds, including prominent ANC figures such as Limpopo Premier Dr. Phophi Ramathuba, who described him as a dedicated young leader committed to community development.
The case has sparked concern over the safety of political figures and the conduct of private security personnel, with the court appearance expected to include a bail application.
