The African National Congress (ANC) notes with grave concern the allegations raised by KwaZulu-Natal
Provincial Police Commissioner, Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi. These matters go to the core of
public confidence in the rule of law and the integrity of our institutions.
The ANC is assured that President Cyril Ramaphosa is attending to this matter with the urgency and
seriousness it deserves. We reaffirm our commitment to the principles of accountability, justice, and the
