RELATIVE APPEARS IN COURT FOR ALLEGED RAPE OF 94-YEAR-OLD WOMAN
Limpopo, South Africa – A 30-year-old man from Vleischboom has appeared briefly before the Nebo Magistrates’ Court on charges of rape and theft. It is alleged that the accused, who is related to the complainant, attacked and raped the 94-year-old woman during the early hours of 10 January 2026 at her home in Vleischboom. Following the alleged rape, the accused reportedly stole the complainant’s cellphone and cash amounting to R100.
The accused was arrested shortly thereafter and was found in possession of the stolen cellphone.
The matter has been postponed to 22 January 2026, for a formal bail application. The accused remains in custody.
