POLICE IN MASISI INVESTIGATE GRUESOME MURDER AFTER BURNT BODY IS DISCOVERED IN MANENZHE FOREST
POLOKWANE: The Police in Masisi have launched a manhunt for suspects following the discovery of a burnt body in Manenzhe forest on Thursday, 27 November 2025 at about 07:00.
Members of the community from Manenzhe alerted the police after discovering what appeared to be a human body dumped in the forest. Makuya Police, who were already tracing a missing person reported on 25 November 2025, joined Masisi Police at the scene.
Upon arrival, they found the victim’s body almost completely burnt, apparently using vehicle tyres. His identity is currently being withheld pending further investigations.
The police have opened a case of murder, and investigations are under way to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident and to track down the perpetrator(s).
