A JOINT INTELLIGENCE OPERATION LED TO THE APPREHENSION OF A MALE SUSPECT, FOR POSSESSION OF SUSPECTED STOLEN PROPERTY ELEVEN GOATS
POLOKWANE The Intelligence driven operation conducted by members of Sekhukhune District, Rosenekal SAPS in collaboration with Laersdrift SAPS in Mpumalanga province have led to a successful arrest a male suspect for possession of suspected stolen property ( Livestock) and a motor-vehicle Nissan NP200 bakkie at Stoffberg Traffic Weigh Bridge in Mpumalanga province on Friday 14 November 2025.
The male suspect was arrested during an intelligence driven operation after information was received from Sekhukhune SAPS about the suspect who was in possession of suspected stolen property. The suspicious motor vehicle Nissan NP200 bakkie with Mpumalanga province registration number plate was spotted driving near Rosenekal Stoffberg Traffic Weigh Bridge. The vehicle was pulled off the road, and it found loaded with eleven goats suspected of being stolen. The suspect failed to provide proof on the origin of the property. He was then arrested at the scene. The preliminary report indicates that the vehicle was reported to stolen Akasia SAPS in Pretoria North.
The alleged suspect has been linked with many other cases.
The male suspect will appear before Jane Furse Magistrate’s Court soon, on charges Possession suspected of stolen property (stocktheft) eleven goats. The vehicle seized will form part of the investigation.
The Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has praised members of the two Provinces for the collaborative efforts which resulted to the success .
