29-YEAR-OLD MALE SUSPECT TO APPEAR IN COURT FOR MURDER IN NORTHAM
POLOKWANE– The Police in Northam under Waterberg District have arrested a 29-year-old male suspect following a fatal stabbing incident that occurred at Block 7, RDP houses, next to a local tavern on Sunday, 02 November 2025, at about 17:21.
Police received a report of a murder at the Northam Clinic and, upon arrival, discovered the body of a 30-year-old male who had sustained multiple open wounds. Officers proceeded to the scene of the crime, where they recovered a broken bottle believed to have been used during the commission of crime.
The suspect was swiftly traced and arrested shortly after the incident. He is expected to appear before the Northam Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday, 04 November 2025, facing a charge of murder.
Police investigations are ongoing.
