Pretoria – A horrific incident has shaken the Mamelodi community, as two young women were shot and killed on weekend in a tragic event linked to a dispute at a local tavern. According to eyewitnesses and reports from people at the tavern in Mamelodi, the victims had allegedly consumed around R10,000 worth of alcohol with a man. When they refused to leave with him, the man reportedly became angry. The suspect allegedly followed the two women and ultimately shot them. Neighbours recounted hearing a commotion followed by two gunshots. When they went to check on the disturbance, they discovered the two girls lying in a pool of blood, unresponsive. Emergency services were called; however, the women were confirmed deceased at the scene.
