MANHUNT LAUNCHED FOR SUSPECTS FOLLOWING A MURDER OF 35-YEAR-OLD MAN
POLOKWANE: The Police in Sekgosese have launched a manhunt for unknown suspect(s) following the gruesome discovery of a 35-year-old man’s body at Mamaila village on Monday 20 October 2025.
The Police were called to the crime scens. On their arrival, they discovered a deceased male person laying in the bushes of Mamaila village next to a well-known shopping complex. The deceased was found having stabbed wounds on his throat and wearing his trouser only.
The preliminary report suggests that the victim left his home on Thursday, 18 October, at around 18:00, with the intention of going to the nearest shop, but he never returned back. The deceased man was identified as Mr Phatudi Thabang Tevin.
The motive behind the incident is unknown at this stage. The investigation will determine the cause of the death.
