MANHUNT IS UNDERWAY AFTER MURDER SUSPECT IN LEVUBU REMAINS AT LARGE

POLOKWANE : The Police in Levubu intensified its search for a suspect following the death of a man aged 31, who was stabbed last week along the local, Levubu B Road.

On Sunday, 28 September 2025 at about 17:30, the victim who is a Zimbabwean national, sustained stab wounds and was admitted to Tshilidzini Hospital for medical treatment. Unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries in the early hours of Saturday, 04 October 2025.

The case, which was initially registered as attempted murder, has now been updated to murder. The suspect has been identified as Richard Chiraira also a Zimbabwean national, who is currently on the run.
