A 27 YEAR-OLD MURDER SUSPECT AT GA-THOKA VILLAGE APPREHENDED BY MANKWENG SAPS
POLOKWANE: A 27 year-old male suspect was apprehended by the police in Mankweng following the murder of a 25 year-old male victim at Ga-Thoka village on Saturday 06 September 2025 at about 22:31.
Report suggest that the suspect after allegedly brutally killing the victim ,he handed himself to Mankweng police station Police after receiving a complaint about a murder incident ,they rushed to the scene. Upon arrival, they found members of the community on the street together with the deceased”s brother .
Police entered the yard and were shown a lifeless body of a male victim on the ground with severe stab wounds on his body. The members of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were summoned to the scene and they certified the 25 year-old male dead on their arrival .
The motive behing the incident is unknown at this stage and the suspect was subsequently arrested for murder.
The suspect will appear before the Mankweng Magistrate court soon facing a charge of murder.
Police investigations are continuing.
