A 67 YEAR-OLD MALE SUSPECT ARRESTED FOR MURDER OF 36 YEAR-OLD WIFE
POLOKWANE: The South African Police Service in Seshego under Capricorn District has arrested a 67 year-old male for the brutal murder of a 36 year-old female victim believed to be his wife at Moletjie, Ga-Hlahla village.
It is alleged that the couple were at their residence when they had a heated argument on Wednesday 03 September 2025 at about 22:00.
It appears the suspect suddenly hit a 36 year-old victim with an object on the forehead and she sustained a deep open wound and instantly died at the scene.
The next day on Thursday, 04 September 2025 at about 08:30, an elderly male suspect rushed to the local police and reported the matter.
Police immediately drove to the scene together with the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) and she was certified dead on their arrival.
An elderly suspect was apprehended and is expected to appear before Seshego Magistrate court soon facing a charge of murder.
Police investigations are continuing.
