TWO MISS UNIVERSE BOTSWANA FINALISTS EXIT THE COMPETITION
In a surprising twist, two Miss Universe Botswana 2025 finalists; Boemo Laba and Kutlo Selabe, have officially withdrawn from the race.
While the Miss Universe Botswana Facebook page is typically the platform for sharing such updates, Laba’s resignation was met with silence. No formal announcement was made, sparking speculation across social media.
Just a week later, Selabe also stepped away from the pageant.
Speaking exclusively, Laba revealed that her decision stemmed from feeling “misaligned, disrespected, and unheard.” For her, continuing in the competition simply no longer made sense.
Meanwhile, the rest of the finalists have jetted off to South Africa for a benchmarking experience ahead of the much-anticipated finale, scheduled to take place this August in Francistown.
