Duties & Responsibilities
- Industrial Equipment Cleaning:
- Clean and sanitize a variety of industrial equipment and machinery following company safety standards and protocols.
- Use appropriate cleaning agents, tools, and techniques for different types of equipment (e.g., conveyors, mixing machines, presses, etc.).
- Perform regular deep cleans of machinery, removing dust, grime, and any build-up that could affect performance.
- Routine Maintenance:
- Follow scheduled cleaning routines for machines and equipment, ensuring cleanliness before and after shifts.
- Report any defects, damage, or potential issues with machinery that may need maintenance or repairs.
- Workplace Safety:
- Adhere to safety guidelines and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while working with industrial equipment.
- Handle chemicals and cleaning agents safely and responsibly, following health and safety protocols.
- General Housekeeping:
- Keep work areas clean and organized, including floors, walls, and storage areas.
- Dispose of waste, hazardous materials, and other debris in a safe manner in compliance with environmental regulations.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain cleaning logs and reports to track equipment cleanliness and report any anomalies.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding the cleaning needs of specific equipment.
