MUSA KHAWULA CASE POSTPONED FOR FURTHER INVESTIGATIONS

The case against Musa Khawula(33) has been postponed by the Randburg Magistrates’ Court to 19 March 2025. The 33-year-old faces charges of crimen injuria and contempt of court. The charges arise from a series of allegedly defamatory statements that Khawula posted on his social media platform, which has a large following, between 10 and 12 October 2024. The statements are alleged to have been made to harm the dignity of businessman Zesimdumise Nxumalo (44).

The court’s decision to postpone the case was made after the disclosure of the contents of the dockets to the defence, and the matter has been remanded for consultation.
