What the Learnership Offers

  • Qualification: NQF Level 3 in Packaging Operations
  • Location: Wadeville Manufacturing Plant (Gauteng)
  • Type: Combination of classroom learning + hands-on factory experience

You’ll essentially be trained to work on real production lines—something employers value a lot.


Skills You’ll Gain

You’ll learn practical, job-ready skills like:

  • Operating and monitoring packaging machines
  • Filling, sealing, and labeling products
  • Basic machine maintenance (first-line fixes)
  • Quality control checks
  • Workplace safety procedures
  • Problem-solving in a production environment

By the end, you should be able to work independently on packaging equipment.


Minimum Requirements

Make sure you meet these before applying:

  • Matric (Grade 12), ideally with Mathematics
  • Interest in technical/mechanical work
  • Ability to work in a team and under pressure
  • Basic understanding of safety in the workplace
  • Good communication skills
