HEALTH MEC DR. PHOPHI RAMATHUBA TO HAND OVER NEWLY RENOVATED WARD AT LETABA HOSPITAL
Limpopo Health MEC, Dr. Phophi Ramathuba will officially hand over the newly renovated ward at Letaba Hospital, located in the Greater Letaba Local Municipality within the Mopani District.
These renovations are part of a broader state effort to develop our infrastructure in preparation for the implementation of National Health Insurance (NHI). Infrastructure plays a pivotal role in the realization of NHI. Over the past few months, MEC Ramathuba has been inaugurating new and revamped facilities built according to stringent health standards. The completion of this ward signifies a significant commitment by MEC Ramathuba to improving healthcare infrastructure.
“As a department, we have been opening new and revamped facilities across the province to ensure the effective implementation of the NHI. Many of our facilities have been graded with healthcare standard status because they meet all the necessary requirements. The journey is still long, but we remain focused on our quest to improve our health facilities for the better implementation of NHI. This achievement underscores our dedication to enhancing the delivery of healthcare services,” said MEC Ramathuba.
