A 58-YEAR-OLD STOCK THEFT WANTED-SUSPECT NABBED FOLLOWING POSITIVE LEADS
POLOKWANE: Members of SAPS Limpopo Provincial Vispol Task Team, Mopani Tracking Team, arrested a wanted suspect aged 58, on Sunday, 21 April 2024 at 08:00, following a positive tip-off.
He was allegedly terrorizing the community on stock theft at Giyani, Mokwakwaila, and other nearby policing areas between 2021 and 2023.
According to information, the suspect was one of the suspects who stole live stock such as cattle and slaughtered them. Subsequent to his arrest, it was established that warrants of arrest were issued against him by two Magistrate’s Courts.
The Provincial Commissoner of Limpopo SAPS , Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has praised the team members for the job well done
The suspect might be linked with more cases. He will appear before Giyani and Bolobedu Magistrate’s Courts soon facing charges of stock theft.
The Police investigations are underway.
