MAN ACCUSED OF KILLING WIFE DURING CHURCH SERVICE APPEARS BEFORE THOHOYANDOU MAGISTRATE’S COURT
*POLOKWANE: A 54-year-old man, Eric Mundalamo accused of killing his 42-year-old wife, Precious Mbedzi during a church service at Makonde Shadani village outside Thohoyandou at the weekend made his first court appearance before Thohoyandou Magistrate’s Court today and his case was postponed to 10 June 2024 for formal bail application.
This after the suspect handed himself to the Police on Monday afternoon .
It is reported that suspect entered the premises on Saturday 30 March at about 18:00, while the congregation was engaged in worship and callously fired multiple shots at the victim, resulting in her untimely death.
The suspect then fled the scene in a silver-grey Toyota Corolla. The motive behind the incident is still unclear but domestic violence can not be ruled out.
