TEENAGER ARRESTED FOR FATAL STABBING OF 15-YEAR-OLD IN MULAMULA VILLAGE

POLOKWANE: The Police in Malamulele, Vhembe District, have arrested a seventeen-year-old suspect for the tragic death of a fifteen-year-old boy at a secondary school in Mulamula village on Thursday, February 29th.

According to preliminary reports, an altercation broke out between the victim and suspect during a cultural event hosted by one of the secondary schools in Mulamula village . During this confrontation, the suspect produced a knife and inflicted fatal wounds on Innocent Mchavi (15), from Mulamula Village before fleeing. Despite immediate medical attention, Innocent tragically succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

The motive behind this violent incident remains under investigation by police who are currently conducting further inquiries to establish all circumstances that led up to this harrowing event.

The Provincial Commissioner of the South African Police Service in Limpopo, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, vehemently denounces this heinous act as deplorable.

The suspect is currently in custody and will be arraigned before the Malamulele Magistrate’s Court on Monday, March 4th to face a murder charge.

The South African Police Service assures its full commitment towards conducting thorough investigations into incidents such as these while working towards justice for victims and their families.
