FATAL STABBING OF 23-YEAR-OLD MAN AT ITSANI VILLAGE

POLOKWANE: The Police at Thohoyandou are investigating a case of murder, after a 23-year-old male victim, was stabbed and killed by a group of unknown suspects at Itsani village in a Liquor Outlet, in the early hours of Sunday, 28 January 2024.

Reports suggest, the victim was involved in the fight that ensued in the Liquor Outlet with a group of other young boys. He was later found lying in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds.

The Police were summoned to the scene together with emergency medical personnel who certified him fead on the scene.

The victim was identified by his father as Eric Mukoma Tahala (23) of Itsani Matieni village.

The motive behind the incident is currently unknown, and further investigations will determine.

Police opened a case of murder for further investigation.

The Acting Provincial Commissioner of Police in Limpopo Major General Jan Scheepers has condemned the incident and further encouraged members of the community to assist police in identifying the suspects.
