POLICE PROBE MALICIOUS DAMAGE TO PROPERTY CASE AFTER MODIMOLLE COUNCILLOR’S VEHICLE CAUGHT FIRE

POLOKWANE The Detectives at Modimolle SAPS are investigating a case of malicious damage to property after a vehicle belonging to a local Councillor caught fire while parked at his home at extension 10 in Modimolle on Thursday night, 04 January 2024 at about 23h00.

According to the preliminary information, the male complainant was woken up by a smell of smoke and when he went outside to investigate, he found that his motor vehicle, white Ford Ranger was on fire.Police and emergency services were called to the scene.

Police initially opened an inquiry and are now investigating a case of malicious damage to property. Investigation team has been activated to conduct a forensic as well as preliminary investigation to establish the cause of the fire.
