DEPUTY MINISTER OF POLICE, MR CASSEL MATHALE TO INSPECT SAFER FESTIVE SEASON POLICE OPERATIONS IN LIMPOPO
The Deputy Minister of Police, Mr Cassel Mathale, will on Sunday, 24 December 2023, lead the inspection of the annual Festive Season Inspection Roadshow at Mopani District in Limpopo. The visit is part of concerted efforts by the South African Police Service(SAPS) to intensify the fight against crime during the festive season and beyond.
The heightened visibility will also see the police dealing decisively with any act of criminality, thus ensuring that Limpopo residents, businesses and holiday makers are and feel safe during the festive season period.
The Ministry together with the SAPS management team from national and the province, led by Divisional Commissioner for Human Resource Management, Lieutenant General Lineo Ntshiea Commissioner, and Limpopo Provincial Commissioner, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe, will assess the effectiveness of the SAPS’ Safer Festive Season operational plans put in place, to ensure the well-being and safety of Limpopo residents.
The Limpopo leg of the Roadshow commences on Sunday, 24 December 2023 and will wrap up on the second day of the new year.
