POLICE LAUNCH MANHUNT FOR SUSPECTS OF ROBBERY WITH FIREARM AT MALAMULELE

POLOKWANE : The South African Police Service in Malamulele is on a massive manhunt for suspects responsible for the robbery with firearms at the Malamulele Crossing and Jim Jones Village. The robberies took place on Monday 06  November 2023 at about 21:30.

A victim alleged he was busy playing cards with friends at Jim Jones village when four armed men entered and demanded money, robbed them of an undisclosed amount of cash and car keys, and drove off with the victim’s motor vehicle.
Later on, the motor vehicle was found abondoned near Mahonisi village.

Another similar incident of robbery with a firearm took place at Malamulele Crossing, wherein a 32-year-old man who is managing a financial institution was robbed by three men on gunpoint and took eight cards belonging to customers without knowing how much was in the cards and escaped from the scene.

Police were alerted about both incidents; they opened cases of robbery with firearms and activated manhunts to locate suspects.

The police investigation is continuing.
