Limpopo MEC for Public Works, Roads and Infrastructure Nkakareng Rakgoale has implored the Roads Agency Limpopo Board Members and the entity in its entirety to redouble their efforts towards the full realisation of the main functions and responsibilities of the agency. The MEC was speaking during RAL’s annual general meeting held in Mookgophong.
She also commended RAL for having managed to complete 15 projects for preventative maintenance and upgrading of roads at the end of the third quarter of the current financial year. The board members are being led by the Chairperson Matome Ralebipi.
“I can tell you if this is done correctly, we will then be able to contribute to the province’s socio-economic development by connecting our people as per the vision of RAL. As the 2022/2023 financial year comes to its close, the message I wish to convey to you all is one of hope. I also want to express my appreciation to the Board, management and the entire work force of RAL for having managed to complete 15 projects for preventative maintenance and the actual upgrading of roads” says MEC Rakgoale.
Ninety-eight other projects are currently underway across the province.
