GOSPEL SENSESION SIHLE MDLETSHE IS READY TO GIVE MUZANSI A NEW SOUND OF PRAISE

Sihle Mdletshe is one of the youngest gospel music artists from Umhlabuyalingana, Manguzi in Kwa-Zulu Natal. He was born on the 2nd of October

  1. He did his High School studies at Inkosi Justice High School and went further to complete his matric at Zenzeleni High School in 2016.

Sihle began singing at a young age when he was 10 years old, singing in churches and other places, including primary schools, where he sang for graduating students at farewell functions. His love for music grew exponentially when he was in high school, where his teachers made a discovery of his talent and natured his career. Subsequent to this, Sihle continued to sing at different schools in the area, where he was one of the young musicians who had taken the lead in cultural activities.

In 2016, after completing his matric, he started to compose songs and record them professionally., which was his biggest dream, that he managed to accomplish. Sihle Mdletshe was not only good at singing, but he was also a hard worker when coming to his schoolwork. As one of the best musicians, he is also able to juggle a variety of genres such as Afro-Gospel, Jazz Gospel, House Gospel, and others. Sihle says he is a humble artist who wishes to see other people succeed: “I wish to see other people being faithful to others. I am an artist that loves peace and working with other artists.”

He further stated that he does not have pride, and he believes that God is the only answer to his dreams. From the year 2020 to 2021, Sihle Mdletshe started to work with many radio stations such ad Nongoma FM, UGU radio, Umusa FM, Life FM, Inanda FM, Ntuzuma FM, etc. These radio stations gave him huge support from the people who are their faithful listeners. He started to get features from different artists because of his sterling work, where he managed to release the music
video of his song Ngiphakamele Jesu. The music was released and confirmed by Sibusiso Mbonambi who is a well-known professional video editor from uMhlabuyalingana in KZN. Mdletshe worked with Sbusiso Mbonambi for many years for live interviews and other projects. The music video started to trend on social media platforms and among people. It is loved by many people, and community radio stations frequently talk about it. Mdletshe has also worked with Jozini Media, after seeing and falling in love with his performance Umembeso ceremony
around uMhlabuyalingana. Johannesburg’s SM radio station also assisted him with marketing.

He also worked with Sihle Mnguni from 1KZN TV, who loved his performances and hard work, and subsequently took his music videos with the purpose of playing them on 1KZN TV. Mdletshe continued to work with TW radio from Swaziland, a radio station that is available on DSTV channel 855, LM radio from Mozambique, EBS from Namibia, Touch radio from Kenya, and Sun Radio from Zambia.

He is highly supported by a large number of radio stations in South Africa in various provinces. Ikwekwezi radio accepted his songs with the hope of giving him airplay. Ikasie FM from Johannesburg also supported his work and it is giving him an air play.
