LEARNER APPEARS IN COURT FOR ATTEMPTED MURDER
A 16-year-old learner appeared in the Ntuzuma Magistrates’ Court today. He was charged with attempted murder and theft of a firearm.
The state is alleging that he stole his cousin’s firearm from a locked safe and took it to school. At school, he allegedly shot at a teacher.
The matter was remanded to 12 January 2023 for further investigations. The learner was released into the custody of a guardian.
