Health MEC Dr Phophi Ramathuba arrives at Seshego Hospital to support Limpopo Obstetrics Response Team in collaboration with University of Cape Town Global surgery during the obstrectics and gynaecology workshop in Seshego Hospital. The O &G workshop is aimed at identifying high risk pregnant women through the knowledge of basic ultra sound, safe surgical skills of performing ceasarean section and respectful maternal care, Anesthetia for pregnant women and Help baby breath (HHB).
These interventions will ensure that we improve the health outcomes by eliminating preventable maternal deaths in our province. We envisage yo include other sectors of society like traditional leaders, traditional health practitioners and interfaith leaders to work together with government in fighting these challenges.
