The ANC in Limpopo is dismayed with the EFF’s Jossey Buthane, who exasperatedly used a television interview on Premier Chupu Mathabatha’s Executive Council reconfiguration, to make a feeble attempt of resuscitating his tethering political career.
In an interview with Newzroom Africa, Buthane made sweeping statements, that cast aspersions on the capabilities of every leader deployed by the ANC, at various levels of Government.
True to his character, of being obnoxious and making unfounded statements, Buthane blew hot air, on national television, and even insulted the person of Premier Chupu Mathabatha.
The ANC in Limpopo is not surprised with Buthane’s antics of desperately clutching for political relevance, by laying fictitious criminal charges on some PEC Members, who have been deployed into Premier Mathabatha’s Executive Council.
Buthane, who was recently ousted as the EFF’s Provincial Leader, knows very well that the ANC has well placed systems, like the Step-Aside Rules, which would have applied if there was any act of malfeasance or corruption, on any of these comrades.
The ANC expresses its full confidence in the leadership capabilities of Comrades Florence Radzilani and Nakedi Sibanda-Kekana and the entire new Executive Council collective. The ANC implores its deployees not to be distracted and to focus on ensuring that our people receive the services they expect from the ANC Government.
