GIYANI : A search operation of a 17 year-old girl, Hlamalani Chauke popularly known as “Hlamie” from Mapayeni village have been launched by the Giyani police following her disappearance last week on Saturday 24 September 2022.
The victim went missing while attending the unveiling of a tombstone celebration in company of her mother at Vuhehli village who gave her money to purchase some items at a nearby shop.
Unfortunately, she never returned and has since disappeared and was allegedly last seen in the evening at Holobye Resort Complex with a male individual believed to be residing at Siyandhani village.
The victim’s mother tried to contact her over the cellphone and she informed her that she is at Siyandhani village but does not know the exact place and her phone was later on voicemail until she was reported missing today on Saturday 01 October 2022.
Efforts to locate the victim at relatives and friends were not fruitful and there is no clear description of the type of clothes she was wearing at the time of her disappearance.
