Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking experienced Casual Cashiers for its Richards Bay store. This role focuses on delivering excellent customer service at the point of sale while ensuring accurate transactions and minimizing risk.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service at the point of sale
- Accurately process all transactions (cash, cards, vouchers, coupons)
- Maintain zero tolerance for inaccuracies and fraud risk
- Handle cash flow responsibly and follow all security procedures
- Process loyalty programmes (e.g., Discovery, Momentum, eBucks, etc.)
- Manage refunds, exchanges, and authorised returns
- Report customer feedback to supervisors or store management
- Stay updated on promotions and current sales
- Ensure all items are scanned and paid for correctly
- Monitor and report any suspicious behaviour
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Strong numerical skills
- Good command of the English language
- Basic customer service skills
- Willing and able to work retail hours
