What the Learnership Offers
This programme is designed to train you as a cross-skilled retail sales consultant, meaning you’ll learn both front-of-store and service desk duties.
Key skills you’ll gain:
- Customer service & sales techniques
- Store merchandising (how products are displayed)
- Operating POS (Point of Sale) systems
- Opening and managing customer accounts
- Stock control & loss prevention
What You’ll Do During Training
You’ll get real in-store experience, including:
- Working at least 120 hours
- Helping customers find products
- Handling payments at tills
- Keeping the store visually appealing
- Assisting with stock management
- Building customer relationships
You’ll also complete logbooks and assessments to qualify.
Minimum Requirements
You can apply if you:
- Have Grade 10
- Are interested in fashion/retail
- Are willing to learn and complete assessments
- Can work well with people
No previous work experience is needed.
