LIMPOPO PROVINCIAL GOVERNMENT TO CELEBRATE THE 49TH COMMEMORATION OF YOUTH DAY IN EPHRAIM MOGALE MUNICIPALITY
Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba will lead the Limpopo commemoration of Youth Day 2025 in Ephraim Mogale Municipality in Sekhukhune District on 16 June 2025.
The 49th commemoration of June 16 will be under the theme: “Skills for the changing world – Empowering youth for meaningful economic participation,” a theme that intends to equip young people with the necessary tools, skills and platforms needed to shape their own future and of generations to come.
The day will also address various challenges faced by young people in the country such as unemployment, Gender-Based Violence & Femicide and financial stagnation, a thorn that continues to poke the umbrella of safety and unity in the province.
While taking stock of the progress made in advancing youth empowerment, the commemoration will promote educational skills development programs that links them with economic opportunities.
Additionally, government on wheels services will be on site to provision all the assistance needed by people in attendance. Departments such as Home Affairs, SASSA, SAPS and other private sectors will be present to offer aid as well.
