TWO SUSPECTS REMANDED IN CUSTODY AFTER BEING ARRESTED FOR THEFT OF MOTOR VEHICLE WORTH OVER R2,1 MILLIONS

POLOKWANE Two male suspects who were arrested for possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle were reminded in custody when they appeared before Modimolle Magistrate’s Court on Friday 27 Februaty 2026.
Police in Limpopo, attached to Waterberg District Flying Squad, arrested the two male suspects between the ages of 26 and 27 on Wednesday 25 February 2026 .

The duo are facing a charge of possession of a presumed stolen motor vehicle, which was seized along N1 North near Kranskop filing station on Wednesday, 25 February 2026

The preliminary report reveals that at about 18:00, members received positive information from the tracking company regarding a suspected stolen white Range Rover with Gauteng registration number en route to Limpopo Province, driving along N1 North.

An operation was activated, which led to the vehicle being intercepted at Kranskop filling station, and two male suspects were arrested for possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle. During the investigation, the vehicle was found to have been reported stolen at Bramley police station, Gauteng Province, during February 2026.

Pontsho Mahule (26) and Neo Trinity Masoha (27) are expected to appear before Modimolle Magistrate’s Court on the 05 March 2026 for formal bail application, facing a charge of possession of suspected stolen vehicle.
