Lekompo musician Shebeshxt, real name Lehlogonolo Katlego Chauke, has been hit with additional charges while in custody at the Polokwane Holding Cells. The new charges follow the discovery of prohibited items, including a cellphone and a pipe similar to one used for smoking drugs. Shebeshxt is already facing serious charges, including attempted murder, unlawful possession of a firearm, malicious damage to property, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm, and robbery with aggravating circumstances, stemming from a road rage incident on October 19, 2025 ¹.
The incident allegedly involved Shebeshxt firing shots at another motorist in Ladanna, Polokwane, leaving one person seriously injured. His bail hearing has been postponed, and he will remain in custody until further notice. If convicted, Shebeshxt faces severe penalties, including long-term imprisonment.
